Lisa & Matt

The love between these sweethearts grew from being best friends in college! They got married on a chilly mid-October Saturday ~ a cloudy sky & light rain made for beautiful diffused light. Lisa met her brothers for an emotional first look, and then with Matt by the pool. They exchanged vows privately under umbrellas on the rooftop overlooking the city. Crystal beaded chandeliers and large billowing white floral arrangements set the scene for their ceremony. Lisa's simple & elegant bouquet of white calla lilies was a beautiful compliment to the modern lines of her Jimmie Huang gown. Once married, we set out for newlywed portraits with their wedding party of twenty-five (!) on one of Chicago's iconic bascule bridges. We then piled into a party trolley and headed to Morgan's on Fulton for their reception. Long tables with white linens and matching florals surrounded the sweetheart table in the glass enclosed rooftop penthouse. Dinner didn't disappoint & the dancefloor was jumping late into the night.
