Regina & Jon

Swooooooooooon! ♥ Catherine Dean for BHLDN on this naturally gorgeous bride. Such a treat that the weather turned out this beautiful for an outdoor wedding in September. We were able to sneak off to shoot in an open prairie at the edge of the Glen Club golf course for the first look. The energy between Regina & Jon is so genuine and love-filled, the sort of marriage that you know is a celebration of a time-honored friendship. Jewish traditions included a beautiful lace chuppah, an artful ketubah, breaking of the glass, challah, and later in the evening the Hora. Jon's father performed on acoustic guitar during dinner, and the mother-son dance was a riot ~ head-banging to "I Love Rock 'N Roll" by Joan Jett. Sunflowers, orchids, birch bark, hand-beaded evil eyes, and geode slices... yes please. Mazel Tov ♥

words from the couple:

"On the day of our wedding, Mariah & Rich had amazing positive energy, providing emotional support, navigating the unexpected with grace and kindness. They captured everything we wanted and didn't know we couldn't live without. When going through the photos we laugh and cry at the happy memories and sweet surprises of caught moments among our family and friends. Communication and feedback were also great, which was a huge stress relief for us while we were preparing for and organizing our wedding plans. We got our photos back faster than anticipated and could not have been happier with both the digital and hard copy qualities. The presentation and care of which she mailed our hard drive, album and prints was beautiful and SUCH a present when opening! We love you Mariah and are so so so happy you captured our most joyous day with friends and family."
