Patrick & Sumer
The setting for this winter "pandemic wedding" was an Assyrian church on the north side of Chicago. They booked me two weeks before their wedding day, and only for a couple of hours. The vibe was a match from the first minute of our first call, and they had just one shot list request ~ "something to haunt future generations." Haha! ♥ During their formal ceremony, Patrick couldn't stop giggling as Sumer slid his panther ring on his finger. He explained later that the jeweler who showed him wedding bands told him in complete seriousness "Anything but the panther." So naturally, he got the panther. Immediately following the ceremony, a lively performance of Dola o Zorna (flute & drum) erupted outside as fireworks shot up from the church steps. We attempted to get "the haunted" photo in the basement of the church, but it wasn't creepy enough. So I decided to put them somewhere else and give them ghostly auras. (scroll to the end). Cheers, Loves!

words from the couple:
"Mariah went above and beyond with our wedding photos. She is not your traditional point and shoot, get in & out, photographer. She truly has an artist's eye, and provided some incredible candid shots. She's also just an incredible human to work with - a true professional, and went the extra mile in every way possible. I cannot recommend her enough."
