Spent a warm winter afternoon with these loves cruising around Chicago, taking engagement photos in a few of their favorite places. Lake Michigan had mostly melted and large sheets of ice were scattered along the concrete walkway of the museum campus, our first stop for photos. Next was the cutest bakery & soda fountain – which Ian & Kaycee frequent – called 'Spinning J'. We each indulged in a slice of the most amazing key lime cheesecake (insanely good.), and a mug of warm tea. Lastly, we caught the sunset in Humboldt Park with a perfect twilight blue over the lagoon serving as our backdrop. These two made it easy. ♥︎ Can't wait to shoot their wedding at Ovation in 2022!
